Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From the city center (Deák Ferenc tér), take Metro Line 2 (Red Line) towards Örs vezér tere. Get off at the next stop, which is Astoria. Transfer to Tram Line 47 or 49 towards Buda and disembark at the Kossuth Lajos tér stop. From Kossuth Lajos tér, walk towards the Danube River and cross the Chain Bridge (Lánchíd). Once you reach the Buda side, continue straight until you reach the Széll Kálmán tér. From Széll Kálmán tér, take Bus No. 11 towards Budakeszi and get off at the Polgár utca stop. Walk a short distance to Polgár u. 14, where the Roman age ruins are located.

    If you are near the Buda Castle, exit the castle grounds and walk towards the Buda side of the Chain Bridge. Cross the bridge and head straight to Széll Kálmán tér. From there, take Bus No. 11 towards Budakeszi and get off at Polgár utca. The Roman age ruins will be a short walk away at Polgár u. 14.

  • Bus

    From the Nyugati Railway Station, take Tram Line 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér. Once you arrive at Széll Kálmán tér, switch to Bus No. 11 heading towards Budakeszi. Get off at the Polgár utca stop, and walk to Polgár u. 14 to reach the Roman age ruins.
