Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are already in the Castle District, navigate towards the Fisherman’s Bastion, a prominent landmark nearby. From the Bastion, head southeast along the main path that leads towards the Matthias Church. Continue walking until you reach the intersection of Szentháromság tér and Lajos utca. The Castle Hill map is located at the corner of this intersection, easily visible near the church entrance.

    If you are further away in the Castle District, you can take bus number 16 from the Széll Kálmán tér metro station (M2 line). This bus runs frequently and will take you directly to the Castle District. Get off at the 'Dísz tér' stop, which is a short walk from the Castle Hill map. From Dísz tér, walk towards the Fisherman’s Bastion and follow the same walking directions provided above.
