Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are at the Gellert Hotel or the Gellert Baths, exit the building and head towards Szent Gellért rakpart (Gellért Promenade). Walk along the promenade towards the north for about 10-15 minutes. You will see the St. Gerard Sagredo Statue located along the riverbank. The statue is easily identifiable due to its impressive height and the scenic views of the Danube River it offers.

  • Public Transport

    From the Gellert Hill area, you can take tram number 19 or 41 from the Gellért tér stop. Ride for one stop and get off at the Szent Gellért tér stop. From there, walk along Szent Gellért rakpart (Gellért Promenade) heading north for about 5 minutes. The St. Gerard Sagredo Statue will be on your right. Note that the tram ticket costs around 350 HUF (Hungarian Forint) per ride.
