Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Vác, head south on Váci út towards the Danube River. Continue straight until you reach the main square (Fő tér). Once at the square, turn right onto Kossuth Lajos utca. Follow this street as it curves and leads you towards the riverbank. After approximately 10 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Budapest, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pest side, walk towards Deák Ferenc tér. From there, you can catch Metro Line 1 (yellow line) towards Mexikói út and get off at Oktogon station. Walk south on Király utca until you reach Klauzál tér, which is about 5 minutes away.

  • Bus

    From the main bus station in Vác, take Bus 100E towards Budapest. The bus ride will take around 40 minutes. Get off at the Deák Ferenc tér stop. From Deák Ferenc tér, walk towards the intersection of Rákóczi út and Király utca. Take a left onto Király utca and continue walking until you reach Klauzál tér, which will be on your right after about a 10-minute walk.
