From Tatabanya train station, take a train to Budapest. Trains to Budapest leave regularly, so check the schedule upon arrival. Once you arrive at Budapest Nyugati Railway Station, exit the station and head to the tram stop located just outside the station. Board tram line 4 or 6, heading towards the direction of 'Széll Kálmán Tér'. After approximately 10 stops, get off at 'Kálvin Tér' station. From there, you can walk to Madame Tussauds by heading southeast on Kálvin Tér towards Kálvin János utca, then turn left onto Ráday utca. Continue straight until you reach the Danube river and then head towards the direction of the Elizabeth Bridge. Cross the bridge, then follow the signs to reach Dorottya utca where Madame Tussauds is located.

If you're staying in the city center of Tatabanya, you can walk to the train station. From there, board a train to Budapest. Once you arrive at Budapest Nyugati Railway Station, walk to the nearest tram stop and catch tram line 4 or 6 towards 'Széll Kálmán Tér'. After about 10 stops, get off at 'Kálvin Tér'. From Kálvin Tér, walk southeast on Kálvin Tér towards Kálvin János utca, then take a left onto Ráday utca. Continue walking straight, cross the Danube via the Elizabeth Bridge, and follow signs to Dorottya utca to reach your destination.
