If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Budapest. Drive north on Andrássy Avenue, then merge onto the Váci út (Route 2). Continue on Váci út until you reach the junction with Pusztaszeri út. Turn left onto Pusztaszeri út and follow the road until you see the Szemlő-hegyi Cave on your right at number 35. Parking is available nearby.

To reach Szemlő-hegyi Cave via public transportation, take the Metro Line 2 (the red line) to the Széll Kálmán tér station. From there, transfer to bus number 11 towards Kékgolyó utca and get off at the 'Pusztaszeri út' stop. Walk back along Pusztaszeri út for about 5 minutes to reach the cave, located at number 35 on your left.
