Bus

From Tatabánya, head to the Tatabánya bus station located near the city center. Look for buses heading towards Visegrád. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Visegrád, look for signs directing you to the main attractions, including the Visegrád Citadel.

Train and Bus

Start at Tatabánya train station and take a train towards Budapest. Get off at the Szob station. From Szob, transfer to a local bus that goes directly to Visegrád. This trip may take around 2 to 2.5 hours in total. Upon arrival in Visegrád, follow the signs to the main attractions.

Walking and Public Transport

If you are closer to the Tatabánya city center, take a local tram or bus to reach the Tatabánya train station. From there, follow the previous instruction to take a train to Budapest, then a bus to Visegrád. Make sure to check the local transport schedules for any changes.
