Car

If you are driving from within Central Hungary, head towards Budapest. Use the M1 or M7 motorways to approach the city. Once you are in Budapest, follow signs for the city center (Belváros). Use GPS coordinates 47.4989928, 19.0436994 to navigate directly to Széchenyi Chain Bridge (Széchenyi Lánchíd). Parking is available at nearby garages, such as at the Duna Palota or in the underground parking at Széchenyi István tér, but expect to pay around 300 HUF per hour.

Public Transportation - Metro

Take the M2 (Red Line) metro towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the station 'Deák Ferenc tér'. From there, transfer to the M1 (Yellow Line) metro towards Vörösmarty tér. Disembark at Vörösmarty tér station, which is a short walk from Széchenyi Chain Bridge. As of the latest fare, a single ticket costs about 350 HUF.

Public Transportation - Tram

If you are near the riverbank, you can take Tram Line 2, which runs along the Danube. Board the tram at any stop along the route. Disembark at the 'Kossuth Lajos tér' stop. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to Széchenyi Chain Bridge. A ticket for the tram costs approximately 350 HUF.
