From Debrecen city center, head to the Debrecen Railway Station (Debreceni Pályaudvar). You can take tram line 1 towards the 'Kossuth utca' stop. Once you reach the station, purchase a ticket to Hortobágy. Board the train heading towards 'Hortobágy' and enjoy the scenic ride. The train will take you to the closest station to Fishery Railway, which is the 'Hortobágy' stop.

Walking
After arriving at the Hortobágy train stop, exit the station and head towards the direction of Halászbárka Fogadóközpont. Follow the road signs towards 'Halászbárka'. It is approximately a 15-20 minute walk along the main road. As you walk, you will see signs directing you towards the Fishery Railway area. Make sure to enjoy the picturesque views of the Hortobágy landscape along the way.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Debrecen city center. Once you have your bike, head towards Hortobágy. You can take the cycle path that runs parallel to the train tracks. This route offers a beautiful view of the countryside and will take you directly to the area of Halászbárka Fogadóközpont. The cycling distance is approximately 20 km and should take around 1-1.5 hours, depending on your pace.
