Getting There

    If you are driving, start from the main entrance of Duna-Ipoly National Park. Head east on the main road towards Csobánka. Follow the signs towards Csobánka (approximately 10 km). Once you reach the town, look for signs indicating Dera Gorge. There is a small parking area near the entrance to the gorge. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, so be sure to have some cash on hand.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Dera Gorge via public transportation, take a train from Budapest to the nearest station, which is in Pilisvörösvár. From Pilisvörösvár, you can take a bus towards Csobánka. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Dera Gorge. From the bus stop, follow the signs to the gorge entrance.
