If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town in Duna-Ipoly National Park, such as Visegrád. Take Route 11 towards Esztergom, and continue on Route 10 heading southeast. Follow the signs for Tata. Once you reach Tata, look for signs directing you to the Gerecsei Landscape Protection Area. There is parking available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
From Budapest, take a train from Nyugati Railway Station to Tata. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Tata train station, you can take a local bus (Bus 1) towards the Gerecsei Landscape Protection Area. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as they may not run frequently. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the train station directly to the park, which will take around 10 minutes.
