Starting from the Eger Main Square (Dobó István tér), head towards the northeast exit. Follow the main pathway leading out of the square, which will take you onto Kossuth Lajos utca. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Vár utca. Turn left onto Vár utca, and after a short walk, you will see the impressive entrance to Dobó István Vármúzeum at Vár 1. The museum is located within the Eger Castle complex, so look for the prominent castle structure.

If you are near the Eger bus station, you can take a local bus heading towards Eger Castle. Board the bus that has a stop at 'Vár' or 'Eger Vár.' The bus ride is approximately 10 minutes. Once you arrive at the Vár stop, disembark and walk towards the castle entrance. Follow the signs to Dobó István Vármúzeum, which is located within the castle grounds at Vár 1.
