Getting There

    If you are starting from Eger city center, head towards the main square, Dobo Istvan Ter. From the square, locate the Eger Castle, which is hard to miss due to its prominent position. Walk towards the castle entrance, which is located at the end of the square. Once you enter the castle grounds, follow the signs for the Fair Bastion, located towards the northern part of the castle complex. The bastion is within the castle walls, and you will find it easily as you explore the area.

    If you are further away from the city center, you can take a local bus to Eger. Board a bus that heads to the Eger bus station (Eger autóbusz-állomás). Upon arriving at the bus station, exit the station and head towards the main square, Dobo Istvan Ter. From there, follow the directions to Eger Castle as described above.
