Once you enter the castle grounds, follow the signs for the Fair Bastion, located towards the northern part of the castle complex. The bastion is within the castle walls, and you will find it easily as you explore the area.

If you are further away from the city center, you can take a local bus to Eger. Board a bus that heads to the Eger bus station (Eger autóbusz-állomás). Upon arriving at the bus station, exit the station and head towards the main square, Dobo Istvan Ter. From there, follow the directions to Eger Castle as described above. The total walking distance from the bus station to the castle is approximately 15-20 minutes.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Eger. Start your ride towards the city center and head towards Dobo Istvan Ter. From the square, cycle towards the Eger Castle entrance. There are bike racks available near the castle where you can securely park your bicycle before exploring the Fair Bastion.
