Getting there

Bus

From Sopron city center, walk to the Sopron Bus Station (Sopron autóbusz-állomás). Take bus number 919 towards 'Podersdorf am See'. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the 'Podersdorf am See' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Podersdorf Lighthouse. Simply head towards the lake, and you will see the lighthouse from a distance.

Bicycle

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Sopron. Head towards the 'Kőfejtő' cycling path, which leads you directly to Podersdorf am See. The distance is about 20 kilometers and will take around 1.5 hours. Follow the signs for cycling trails towards Lake Neusiedl, and you will reach the beautiful Podersdorf Lighthouse.

Train and Walk

Take the train from Sopron Railway Station (Sopron vasútállomás) to the nearest train station, which is 'Neusiedl am See'. The train ride is about 30 minutes. From 'Neusiedl am See', exit the station and follow the signs to the bus stop where you can catch a local bus to Podersdorf am See. Once you arrive at Podersdorf, the lighthouse is about a 15-minute walk towards the lake.
