If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Debrecen, the nearest major city. Take Route 33 towards Hajdúság. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Hajdúbagos. Once in Hajdúbagos, follow the signs to the Hajdúbagosi földikutya-rezervátum, which is located east of the village center. Parking is available near the entrance of the nature reserve.

For travelers using public transportation, you can take a bus from Debrecen to Hajdúbagos. Buses depart regularly from Debrecen's main bus station (Debrecen Autóbusz-állomás). The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Hajdúbagos, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the Hajdúbagosi földikutya-rezervátum. Follow the main road towards the east, and you will see signs directing you to the nature reserve.
