Car
If you're traveling by car, take the M5 motorway from Kiskunság towards Budapest. After about an hour's drive, follow the signs to join the M1 motorway towards Budapest. Continue on M1 until you reach the city center. Once in Budapest, head towards the Buda side and follow the signs to Gellért Hill. You can park your car at the nearby public parking areas. Gellért Hill Cave is located at Szent Gellért rkp. 1, 1114, Budapest.
Public Transportation
To reach Gellért Hill Cave using public transportation, first take a train from Kiskunhalas to Budapest. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Budapest's Nyugati station, transfer to Metro Line 3 (the blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Get off at Deák Ferenc tér station and switch to Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the end station, which is Déli pályaudvar. From there, you can catch bus 212 or 27 towards Gellért Hill. Disembark at the Gellért Hill stop (Gellért-hegy) and walk to Szent Gellért rkp. 1, where the cave is located.
