Car
If you are driving, head towards Balatonszemes from your location in Lake Balaton. Use the main road (Route 7) which runs along the southern shore of the lake. Once you reach Balatonszemes, follow Bagolyvár Street (Bagolyvár u.) until you arrive at Sóhajok hídja located at Bagolyvár u. 1, 8636. There is usually parking available nearby, but be mindful of any local parking regulations.
Public Transportation (Train)
Take a train from any of the major towns around Lake Balaton (such as Siófok, Balatonfüred, or Keszthely) to Balatonszemes. Check the train schedules on the Hungarian Railways (MÁV) website or app. Once you arrive at Balatonszemes train station, it's about a 15-minute walk to Sóhajok hídja. Exit the station and head northwest on Kossuth Lajos utca, then continue onto Bagolyvár u. to reach your destination.
Public Transportation (Bus)
You can also take a bus to Balatonszemes from various locations around Lake Balaton. Buses are operated by Volánbusz. Upon arriving at the Balatonszemes bus station, it is a short walk to Sóhajok hídja. Head northwest on Kossuth Lajos utca and turn onto Bagolyvár u. The walk should take you approximately 10-15 minutes.
