Car
If you are driving, start on the main road around Lake Balaton. From the popular town of Keszthely, head northeast on Route 76 towards Balatonederics. Continue on Route 76 for approximately 8 km until you reach Balatonederics. Look for signs indicating Csodabogyós Cave as you enter the village. There is a parking area near the cave entrance where you can leave your vehicle. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, usually around HUF 500-1000.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a train from Budapest to Keszthely. Trains run regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. Upon arrival at Keszthely train station, transfer to a local bus heading towards Balatonederics. Buses are operated by Volánbusz, and the fare is typically around HUF 400-800. After about 15-20 minutes, you will arrive at the Balatonederics bus stop. From there, follow the signs to Csodabogyós Cave, which is roughly a 15-minute walk uphill from the bus stop.
