Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, such as Gyöngyös. Head southeast on Route 24 towards Mátraháza. After about 15 kilometers, take a left turn onto Route 24A, which will lead you directly to Galyatető. Follow the signs for Galyatető sípálya. The ski area is located at the address Parádsasvár, WWCJ+47, 3242. Parking is available on-site, but there may be a small fee for parking during peak season.
Public Transportation
To reach Galyatető sípálya via public transportation, take a train or bus to the town of Gyöngyös. From Gyöngyös, catch a bus heading towards Parádsasvár. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited on weekends or during off-peak seasons. Once you arrive in Parádsasvár, it is about a 15-minute walk to the ski area. Follow the main road signs towards Galyatető, and you'll reach the slopes shortly.
Taxi
For a more convenient option, consider taking a taxi from Gyöngyös directly to Galyatető sípálya. Taxis are readily available in the town, and the ride will take about 20-25 minutes. This option is ideal if you are traveling in a group or have ski equipment. Be prepared to pay a higher fare, typically around 5,000 to 7,000 HUF, depending on traffic and time of day.
