If you're traveling by car, start from Pécs city center. Head southeast on Szent István tér toward Kossuth Lajos utca. Continue on Kossuth Lajos utca, and then turn right onto Búza tér. Follow the signs for Route 6 and merge onto it. After about 5 km, take the exit toward Route 58 and continue on this road. Follow the signs for Mecsek Mountains, and keep driving for approximately 15-20 minutes until you see signs for Spirál-víznyelő. There is limited parking near the entrance, so be prepared to walk a short distance to the site.
Public Transportation
To reach Spirál-víznyelő using public transportation, start at the Pécs bus station. Take the bus heading towards the Mecsek Mountains (check local schedules for specific routes as they may vary). Get off at the stop closest to the Spirál-víznyelő (you may need to inquire with the driver or other passengers for the exact stop). From there, it’s a short walk to the site.
