Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Pécs. Head southeast on Király utca toward Munkácsy Mihály utca. Continue on Rákóczi út until you reach the intersection with Dózsa György út. Turn left and follow Dózsa György út which will lead you out of the city. After about 5 kilometers, turn right onto the road leading to the Mecsek mountains. Follow the signs for Kis-tubesi kilátó. There is limited parking near the lookout point, so be sure to arrive early to secure a spot.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take bus number 34 from Pécs Bus Station towards the Mecsek and get off at the stop called 'Kis-tubesi'. Buses run every hour, and the ride takes approximately 30 minutes. From the bus stop, it is a short 10-15 minute walk uphill to reach the Kis-tubesi kilátó. Make sure to check the local bus schedules in advance as they may vary on weekends.

Hiking

If you are already in the Mecsek area and enjoy hiking, you can reach Kis-tubesi kilátó by taking one of the marked hiking trails. Starting from the nearby village of Szalánta, follow the blue trail for about 3 kilometers. The trail is well-marked and takes you through beautiful forested areas before leading you to the lookout.
