Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Pécs. Head north on Szent István tér toward Kossuth Lajos utca. Continue straight onto Rákóczi út and follow it as it becomes Kossuth Lajos utca. After approximately 1 km, turn right onto Tettye tér. You will see signs for Tettye Ruins. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that it may incur a small fee, typically around 200 HUF per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Tettye Ruins using public transportation, first make your way to the main bus terminal in Pécs. From there, take bus number 1 or 2 in the direction of Tettye. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Tettye tér stop. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the ruins, just follow the signs. The bus fare is about 350 HUF for a one-way ticket.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Pécs, you can walk to Tettye Ruins. From Széchenyi tér, head southeast on Kossuth Lajos utca and follow it until you reach Rákóczi út. Turn left and continue along the road. After about a 30-minute walk, you will arrive at Tettye tér where the ruins are located. The scenic route will allow you to enjoy the beautiful sights of Pécs along the way.
