Once you arrive at Eger bus station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Kossuth Lajos utca). Walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Apostle on your right at Pyrker János tér 1.

Make your way to the Miskolc-Tiszai Railway Station. Purchase a ticket for a train to Eger, which departs regularly. The train ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Eger train station, exit the station and turn left onto Széchenyi István utca. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Pyrker János tér, where the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Apostle is located.
