    Car

    From Nyírség, get onto the main road (Route 4) heading south towards Budapest. Continue on Route 4 for approximately 130 kilometers until you reach the M3 motorway interchange. Merge onto the M3 motorway towards Budapest. After about 170 kilometers, take the exit towards 'Közép - Buda/Újpest' and follow the signs for 'Buda Castle'. Once you are in the city, follow the signs to the castle which is located at Szent György tér, 1014. There may be parking available nearby, but be prepared for parking fees which can vary.

    Public Transportation (Train and Bus)

    Start at the Nyíregyháza train station and take a train to Budapest Keleti station. The journey takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Upon arrival at Keleti station, transfer to the metro line M2 (Red Line) and travel towards Déli Pályaudvar. Get off at the Déli Pályaudvar station. From there, take bus 16 or 16A, which will take you directly to Szent György tér, the location of Buda Castle. The total cost for the train and metro/bus tickets is around 3,000 HUF.

    From Nyíregyháza, board an intercity bus heading to Budapest. This option may take around 3 to 4 hours. Arrive at the Budapest bus terminal.
