Continue on this road for approximately 120 kilometers, following signs for Budapest. Once you reach Budapest, follow the signs for the city center and then for Hősök tere. To reach Heroes' Square by public transport, start by taking a train from Nyíregyháza train station to Budapest Keleti station. The journey takes about 2 hours and tickets typically cost around HUF 3,000-4,000 (approximately €8-€11). Once you arrive at Budapest Keleti, you can take Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar and get off at the Széchenyi fürdő station. From there, it's a short walk (about 10 minutes) to Heroes' Square. Follow signs for Hősök tere, and you will see the square ahead.
