Car
From Nyírség, head southwest on Route 4 towards Budapest. Continue on Route 4 for approximately 150 km until you reach the outskirts of Budapest. Take the exit toward M0, then merge onto M0. Follow the signs for M2, and then merge onto M2 heading towards Budapest. Continue until you reach the center of Budapest. To get to Széchenyi Chain Bridge, navigate towards District V. You will find the bridge at Széchenyi Lánchíd, 1051 Budapest. Parking is available nearby but may incur costs.
Public Transportation
From Nyírség, take a train from the local train station to Budapest Nyugati station. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours. Upon arriving at Budapest Nyugati, transfer to the Metro Line 3 (Blue Line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Get off at Deák Ferenc tér station. From there, transfer to Metro Line 2 (Red Line) towards Örs vezér tere and get off at the next stop, which is Batthyány tér. Exit the station and walk towards the Danube River to reach Széchenyi Chain Bridge, located at Széchenyi Lánchíd, 1051 Budapest. Ensure you check the train schedule for any ticket costs.
