Public Transport
Start at the main bus station in Salgotarjan, located near the city center. Take bus number 6, heading towards 'Hurka'. The ride should take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Hurka' stop, which is the last stop on the route. From there, follow the signs directing you towards Hurka-Pécskő. The trailhead is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. You will pass a small park on your left and a few local shops on your right. Continue straight until you reach a wooden sign indicating the start of the hiking path to Hurka-Pécskő.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the city center, head north on the main road, Kossuth Lajos út. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of the city. You will see a large sign for 'Hurka' on your left. Turn left onto the dirt road that leads to the hiking trails. Follow this road for about 15 minutes until you reach the trailhead for Hurka-Pécskő, where you will see a clear path leading up into the hills.
