If you are traveling by car, you will want to navigate to Bőszénfa using the following directions: Start from the nearest major town, Kaposvár. Head south on Route 67 towards Barcs. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Bőszénfa. Continue straight on Malom Street (Malom u.) for about 1 km until you reach Bőszénfa deer farm located at Malom u. 3, 7475. There is limited parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin your journey by taking a train from Kaposvár to Barcs. The train ride will take about 30-40 minutes. From Barcs, you will need to transfer to a local bus heading to Bőszénfa. The bus journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Bőszénfa, it's a short walk to the deer farm, located at Malom u. 3, which is about 500 meters from the bus stop.
Bicycle
Cyclists can enjoy a scenic route from Kaposvár to Bőszénfa. Start on Route 67 heading south, and then take side roads towards Bőszénfa. The route is approximately 30 km and can take around 2 hours depending on your cycling speed. Ensure you have a map or GPS device, as some parts may not be well-marked. There are bicycle racks at the deer farm for secure parking.
