Walking
If you are starting from the center of Sopron, head towards the main square, Fő tér. From there, walk down the street called Kossuth Lajos utca until you reach the intersection with the street called Templom utca. Turn left onto Templom utca and continue straight. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the edge of the city where you can find a sign for the Károly-kilátó trail. Follow the signs leading you towards Károly-magaslat, which will take you through a beautiful forested area. The walk may take approximately 30-40 minutes from the city center, depending on your pace.
Public Transport
From the main bus station in Sopron (Sopron autóbusz-pályaudvar), take bus number 21 towards the Károly-magaslat stop. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Once you disembark at Károly-magaslat, follow the signs to Károly-kilátó, which is a short walk up the hill from the bus stop. The total time from the bus station to Károly-kilátó should be around 30 minutes, including the bus ride and walking.
