Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Pécs, which is well-connected by major roads in Southern Transdanubia. Use the M6 motorway if coming from the north. Once in Pécs, follow signs for the city center. As you approach the center, take Kossuth Lajos utca towards the south. Turn left onto Janus Pannonius utca. The Csontváry Museum will be on your right at 11 Janus Pannonius utca. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that some areas may have parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach the Csontváry Museum via public transportation, start by taking a train or bus to Pécs. If you arrive by train, the Pécs train station is located about 2 km from the museum. From there, you can either walk (approximately 25 minutes) or take a local bus (bus number 1 or 3) towards the city center. Disembark at the 'Kossuth Lajos utca' stop. From there, walk south towards Janus Pannonius utca, and the museum will be on your right. If you choose to take a bus directly from a nearby town, ensure that it drops you off at the main bus station in Pécs, then follow the same walking directions.
