If you are starting from the main square of Belvaros, Szeged, head south towards the Tisza River. Walk along Kossuth Lajos Square, passing the Szeged Cathedral on your left. Once you reach the riverbank, continue walking east along the promenade. You will see the Flood Memorial located near the river, just a short distance from the bridge. The total walk should take about 15-20 minutes.
Public Transport (Tram)
From any point in Belvaros, locate the nearest tram stop. You can take Tram Line 1 towards Kiskundorozsma. Get off at the 'Tisza Lajos körút' stop. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk: head south towards the river, cross the road, and follow the path along the riverbank until you reach the Flood Memorial. The tram ticket costs around 350 HUF.
