Walking
If you are starting from Szombathely city center, head southwest towards Kossuth Lajos utca. Walk along Kossuth Lajos utca until you reach the intersection with Rákóczi Ferenc utca. Turn left onto Rákóczi Ferenc utca and continue straight. After approximately 500 meters, you will reach the intersection with Emlékmű út. Turn right onto Emlékmű út, and after about 200 meters, you will see the Felszabadulási Emlékmű on your left.

From Szombathely train station, take bus 5 or 6 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Kossuth Lajos utca' stop. From there, follow the walking directions mentioned earlier: head southwest on Kossuth Lajos utca, turn left onto Rákóczi Ferenc utca, and then right onto Emlékmű út until you reach the Felszabadulási Emlékmű.
