Public Transport - Tram
From the center of Tatabanya, walk to the nearest tram stop, which is usually located near the main square (Fő tér). Board Tram 1 towards 'Tóváros'. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach the Tatabanya Railway Station (Tatabányai Vasútállomás). From the station, transfer to the regional train towards Budapest. The journey takes around 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Nyugati Pályaudvar (Western Railway Station) in Budapest, exit the station and walk to the nearby tram stop. Take Tram 4 or 6 towards 'Móricz Zsigmond körtér'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út' and transfer to Metro Line 1 (Yellow Line) towards 'Vörösmarty tér'. Travel 2 stops and get off at 'Vörösmarty tér'. From there, walk about 10 minutes to Zichy Jenő utca 32.
Public Transport - Bus
Begin at the Tatabanya Bus Station (Tatabányai Autóbusz-állomás). Board the bus to Budapest, which departs frequently. The journey will take about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Budapest bus terminal (e.g., Nepliget), walk to the nearest Metro station, which is Nepliget Metro Station. Take Metro Line 3 (Blue Line) towards 'Újpest-Központ'. After 3 stops, transfer at 'Deák Ferenc tér' to Metro Line 1 (Yellow Line) towards 'Vörösmarty tér'. Travel 2 stops and get off at 'Vörösmarty tér'. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Zichy Jenő utca 32.
Walking
If you are staying in central Tatabanya, simply walk towards the main square (Fő tér). From there, head towards Széchenyi utca, and continue straight until you reach the train station. Follow the signs to the train platforms and board a train towards Budapest. After arriving at Nyugati Pályaudvar, exit the station and walk to the tram stop. From the tram station, catch Tram 4 or 6 towards 'Móricz Zsigmond körtér', and transfer to Metro Line 1 at 'Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út'. Get off at 'Vörösmarty tér' and walk approximately 10 minutes to Zichy Jenő utca 32.
