Public Transport - Bus and Metro
From Tatabanya, walk to the main bus station (Tatabánya autóbusz-állomás). Take the bus to Budapest. Buses are frequent, and the journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Budapest bus station (e.g., Népliget), follow the signs to the Metro station (M3 line). Take the Metro towards Újpest-Központ and get off at the Deák Ferenc tér station. Transfer to Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) and take it to the Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út station. Exit the station, and walk along Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út towards the river. Turn left onto Zrínyi utca, and you will find the Danube Palace at Zrínyi u. 5.

If you find yourself in central Tatabanya, head towards the main bus station. After reaching the bus station, follow the directions to the nearest bus stop for a bus to Budapest. Once in Budapest, navigate to Deák Ferenc tér via metro as described previously. Walking from Deák Ferenc tér to Zrínyi u. 5 takes about 10 minutes. Just remember to head towards the Danube River and look for the signs pointing towards the Danube Palace.
