From Tatabanya, walk to the Tatabanya train station (Tatabánya vasútállomás). Once there, take a train towards Budapest. Trains to Budapest usually leave every 30 minutes. After approximately 40 minutes, you will arrive at Budapest Nyugati railway station. From Nyugati station, follow the signs to the Metro station and take Metro Line 3 (Blue Line) towards Kobanya-Kispest. Get off at the Lehel tér station and transfer to tram number 14. Ride the tram for 7 stops until you reach the Csillaghegy station. From there, it is a short walk to Kiscelli Museum.

From Tatabanya, head to the nearest bus stop and take the bus towards Budapest. You can find different buses (e.g. bus 720) that go directly to Budapest. The journey takes about an hour. Once you arrive at the Budapest bus station (e.g., Népliget), transfer to Metro Line 3 (Blue Line) towards Kobanya-Kispest. Get off at Lehel tér station and transfer to tram number 14.
