    From Tatabánya, head to the Tatabánya train station (Tatabánya Vasútállomás). You can take a direct train to Budapest. The train ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Budapest Keleti Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the metro entrance. Take the M2 (red line) metro towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the Deák Ferenc tér station. From there, transfer to the M1 (yellow line) metro towards Vörösmarty tér. Get off at the Oktogon station. Exit the station and walk towards Andrássy út, which is just a short stroll away.

  • Bus

    At Tatabánya, find the bus stop near the Tatabánya train station. Look for a bus heading to Budapest, particularly those operated by Volánbusz. The journey to Budapest takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Budapest (Kelenföld), take the tram number 49 towards the city center. Get off at the Deák Ferenc tér stop, then switch to the M1 metro line and head towards Vörösmarty tér, getting off at Oktogon station. From there, Andrássy út is within walking distance.

    If you are already in Budapest and wish to reach Andrássy út by walking, start from the Deák Ferenc tér area. Head northwest on Károly krt towards the Oktogon. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Andrássy út.
