Walking
From the center of Vác, head southeast on Kossuth Lajos utca towards the Danube River. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront promenade. Turn left and follow the promenade along the riverbank until you reach the Váci Bridge. Cross the bridge, and once you arrive on the other side, continue straight onto Fő utca. Follow Fő utca for about 1.5 km until you reach the bus stop for the local bus to Budapest. Take bus number 8 or 8E towards Budapest. After around 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Szent Gellért Tér'. From there, transfer to tram line 4 or 6 and ride it to 'Móricz Zsigmond körtér'. At 'Móricz Zsigmond körtér', switch to bus number 29 heading towards 'Kamintháza', and get off at 'Glück Frigyes út' bus stop, which is a short walk from Árpád lookout.
Public Transport
Start at the Váci bus station and take bus number 8 or 8E to Budapest. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Szent Gellért Tér' in Budapest, transfer to tram line 4 or 6. Ride to 'Móricz Zsigmond körtér' and here change to bus number 29 towards 'Kamintháza'. Disembark at the 'Glück Frigyes út' stop, which is a short walk from your destination, Árpád lookout.
