Walking
Start from the town center of Vác, specifically at the Váci Cathedral (Váci Székesegyház). From there, head southwest on Kossuth Lajos utca towards the main square. Continue on Kossuth Lajos utca until you reach the junction with Árpád utca. Turn left onto Árpád utca and walk straight until you reach the train station (Váci Pályaudvar). From the train station, take the train to Budapest. Once you arrive at Budapest-Déli station, exit the station and follow the signs to the bus stop. Take bus number 27 towards 'Dél-Buda' and get off at the 'Gellért tér' stop. From there, walk up the hill towards Citadella street to reach Gellért Hill, where you can enjoy stunning views of the city.
Public Transport
Begin your journey at the Váci train station (Váci Pályaudvar). Purchase a ticket to Budapest-Déli station. Upon arrival at Budapest, follow the signs to the bus terminal. From there, catch bus number 27 heading towards 'Dél-Buda'. Get off at the 'Gellért tér' stop. Once off the bus, walk towards Gellért Hill by following the signs leading you up Citadella street. The hill is located a short walk away from the bus stop, providing easy access to the viewpoint.
