Train
From Vac, walk to the Vac train station. Look for trains heading to Budapest. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Budapest's Nyugati Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the tram stop outside. Take tram number 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at the Kossuth Lajos tér stop. You will find the Hungarian Parliament Building right at Kossuth Lajos tér 1-3.
Bus
From Vac, walk to the bus station located in the town center. Look for buses that go to Budapest (Bus 100E is a direct option). The journey will take about 45 minutes. Get off at the Kossuth Lajos tér stop. Upon disembarking, you will see the Hungarian Parliament Building directly in front of you at Kossuth Lajos tér 1-3.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Vac. Start by heading south on the main road towards Budapest. Follow the bike paths along the Danube River, which will lead you into Budapest. Continue to ride towards Kossuth Lajos tér. The total distance is about 30 kilometers and may take around 2 hours depending on your cycling speed. Once you reach Kossuth Lajos tér, the Hungarian Parliament Building will be visible.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can start at the center of Vac and follow the pedestrian paths to the train station. From there, take a train to Budapest and get off at Nyugati Railway Station. After that, walk towards the tram stop and take tram number 4 or 6 to Kossuth Lajos tér. This option is more time-consuming and may take several hours, but you can enjoy the scenery along the way.
