From the center of Vác, head towards the Váci Mihály Cultural Center located at 1 Széchenyi tér. From there, walk straight down Széchenyi tér until you reach the junction with the Kossuth Lajos utca. Turn right onto Kossuth Lajos utca and continue walking until you reach the Váci Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the bus station. Take bus number 9 towards Budapest. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Károlyi kert' in Budapest. The Károlyi Garden is just a short walk from the bus stop; head east on Károlyi utca until you reach Károlyi kert 25.

From Vác train station, take a train towards Budapest. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Nyugati Railway Station in Budapest, exit the station and head towards the tram stop outside. Take tram number 4 or 6 from Nyugati towards Széll Kálmán tér and get off at the stop 'Kálvin tér'. From Kálvin tér, walk straight on Múzeum körút until you reach the intersection with Károlyi utca.
