    From Vac, head to the Vac train station (Váci állomás), which is located in the center of town. You can walk there easily, as it’s about a 10-minute stroll from most locations in Vac. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Budapest. The train to Budapest usually departs every 30 minutes. After approximately 40 minutes, you will arrive at Nyugati Palyaudvar (Western Railway Station) in Budapest. From Nyugati, take the Metro Line 3 (the blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest and travel for 4 stops until you reach Ferenciek tere. Transfer to Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli pályaudvar and travel 2 stops to Fővám tér. The Military History Museum is a short walk from the station, located at Fővám tér 11-12.

    From Vac, take bus number 8 from the Vac bus station. This bus will take you directly to the nearest train station, where you can catch a train to Budapest.
