  • Walking

    From the main square in Vác, head towards the Váci Train Station. Once at the station, take a train towards Budapest. The train typically runs every 30 minutes. After approximately 40 minutes, you will arrive at Nyugati Pályaudvar (Western Railway Station) in Budapest. From Nyugati Pályaudvar, exit the station and walk towards the Oktogon square. At Oktogon, take tram line 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at the Hősök tere stop. The Millennium Monument is right in front of you.

    Start at the Váci Train Station and take a train to Budapest. Once you arrive at Nyugati Pályaudvar, transfer to the M3 metro line (the blue line) and ride it to the Deák Ferenc tér station. At Deák Ferenc tér, change to the M1 metro line (the yellow line) towards Mexikói út. Get off at the Hősök tere station. From there, the Millennium Monument will be directly accessible.
