Walking
From the center of Vác, head towards the Váci Cathedral and walk down the main street, Váci utca. Continue straight until you reach the Váci train station, which is about a 10-15 minute walk. At the train station, purchase a ticket to Budapest. Once you board the train, it will take approximately 30-40 minutes to reach Budapest. After arriving at Budapest's Nyugati Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the metro entrance. Take Metro Line M3 (the blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Get off at the Arany János utca station. From there, exit the metro and walk towards the intersection of Arany János utca and Kis Rókus utca. The National Dance Theatre is located at Kis Rókus u. 16-20, just a few minutes' walk from the metro station.
Bus
From Vác, walk to the Váci bus station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the city center. At the bus station, take the bus number 100E or 200E that goes to Budapest. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Budapest, head towards the nearest metro station. Take Metro Line M3 (the blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Get off at the Arany János utca station. After exiting the metro, walk towards the intersection of Arany János utca and Kis Rókus utca. The National Dance Theatre is located at Kis Rókus u. 16-20, just a short walk from the metro station.
