Public Transport
From the center of Vác, walk to the Váci Train Station (Váci pályaudvar). Catch a train towards Budapest. Trains run frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. Once you arrive at Budapest Nyugati Railway Station, exit the station and head to the nearby tram stop. Take tram number 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at the Széll Kálmán tér stop and switch to bus number 22. Ride the bus until you reach the Szépvölgyi út / Palvolgyi Cave stop. The cave entrance is a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you're starting from the main square of Vác (Duna Korzó), head east on Báthory utca towards the Váci Train Station. Once you reach the station, follow the steps above to catch a train to Budapest.
Bicycle
For cycling enthusiasts, you can rent a bicycle in Vác and take the scenic route along the Danube River towards Budapest. Follow the bike paths leading to the city, then navigate to Széll Kálmán tér. From there, follow the public transport instructions to reach the Palvolgyi Cave.
