From the center of Vác, walk to the Váci train station (Váci Pályaudvar), which is about a 10-minute walk. Head south on Kossuth Lajos utca, then turn left onto Budapesti út. The train station will be on your right. Take a train to Budapest, which usually takes around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Budapest's Keleti Pályaudvar (Eastern Railway Station), exit the station and look for the M2 Metro line (red line). Take the metro towards Déli pályaudvar and get off at the Stadionok station. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to Puskás Aréna.

If you prefer to walk, it’s a long journey of approximately 30 kilometers, which would take around 6-8 hours. Start by heading south on Kossuth Lajos utca towards the Danube River. Follow the riverbank until you reach the bridge crossing into Budapest. Once in Budapest, continue straight towards the city center, and then navigate to the Puskás Aréna located at Budapest, 1146.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike in Vác. Head south on Kossuth Lajos utca and follow the bike paths along the Danube River. This route will take you directly into Budapest. Once you approach the city, follow the bike lanes towards the center and then to Puskás Aréna at Budapest, 1146. The cycling distance is approximately 30 kilometers and will take around 2-3 hours depending on your pace.
