Train
Start at the Vác train station (Váci állomás). Take a train towards Budapest, which typically leaves every 30 minutes. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Nyugati pályaudvar (Western Railway Station) in Budapest, exit the station and head towards the tram stop.
Tram
At the Nyugati pályaudvar, find the tram line 4 or 6. Board the tram heading towards 'Széll Kálmán tér' (for tram 4) or 'Móricz Zsigmond körtér' (for tram 6). Stay on the tram for about 5 stops until you reach 'Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út' stop.
Walking
After getting off at 'Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út', walk towards the intersection with 'Szent István tér'. Continue straight until you reach Szent István tér. St. Stephen's Basilica will be located on your right at Szent István tér 1. The entire walking distance is around 10 minutes.
