Walking
From the center of Vác, head south on Kossuth Lajos utca towards the Danube River. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the pedestrian bridge over the river. Cross the bridge, and you will be in Budapest. Once across, turn left onto Váci utca. Keep walking straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see the Thonet-ház at Váci u 11 / A on your right side, just before the intersection with Szép utca.
Public Transport
From Vác, walk to the Váci train station, which is about 15 minutes from the city center. Take a train heading towards Budapest. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Budapest Nyugati station, exit the station and follow the signs for the Metro. Take Metro Line 3 (the blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Change at Ferenciek Tere station to Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar. Get off at the next stop, Astoria. From Astoria, exit the station and walk east along Rákóczi út until it intersects with Váci utca. Turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Thonet-ház at Váci u 11 / A.
