From the center of Vác, head towards the Váci Market Hall, which is located on the main pedestrian street. Once at the market, continue straight along the street until you reach the Váci town square. From the square, follow the signs towards the Váci train station to catch a train to Budapest. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Budapest's Nyugati Railway Station, take the metro line 3 (blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Get off at the Deák Ferenc tér station, and transfer to metro line 2 (red line) towards Örs vezér tere. Get off at the next stop, which is Erzsébet tér. The Underground Railway Museum is located at Erzsébet tér 14, just a short walk from the metro exit.

The journey takes around 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Nyugati Railway Station, exit the station and walk towards the nearby metro entrance. Take metro line 3 (blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Change at Deák Ferenc tér to metro line 2 (red line) towards Örs vezér tere and travel one stop to Erzsébet tér.
