    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Vác, head southeast towards the main square, Szentháromság tér. Once you reach the square, look for the bus stop marked 'Vác Autóbusz-állomás'. Take bus number 800 towards Budapest. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Vajdahunyad stny.' stop. From there, walk a short distance southeast along Vajdahunyad street until you reach Vajdahunyad Castle, which will be on your left.

    Bus

    Start at the Vác bus station, located near the city center. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading towards Budapest. Board bus number 800, which will take you directly to the vicinity of Vajdahunyad Castle. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Vajdahunyad stny.' bus stop, exit the bus and walk southeast along Vajdahunyad street for a few minutes until you see the castle on your left.

    Train

    Make your way to the Vác train station, located in the city center. Board a train heading to Budapest Nyugati station. The train ride will last approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Budapest Nyugati, follow the signs to exit the station. From the station, you can take tram number 4 or 6 from the nearby tram stop. Get off at the 'Hősök tere' stop, and walk to Vajdahunyad Castle, which is located in the City Park, a short distance from the tram stop.
