    From Veszprém city center, head to the Veszprém Bus Station located on Auer Paul street. Look for bus number 8 or 9 that travels towards Tihany. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Tihany bus stop, which is the main stop in Tihany. From the bus stop, walk straight towards the main square (I. András tér) for about 10 minutes, and you will see the Tihanyi Bencés Apátság on your right.

    Bike

    You can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Veszprém. Once you have your bike, head towards the main road leading to Tihany. The route is approximately 11 km and will take you around 45 minutes. Follow the signs for Tihany, and enjoy the scenic views along Lake Balaton. Once you arrive in Tihany, navigate to I. András tér, where you will find the Tihanyi Bencés Apátság.

    Walking

    If you are feeling adventurous and would like to walk, start from the Veszprém city center and follow the path towards Tihany. This is a long walk of about 11 km and will take approximately 2 hours. Head towards the lake and follow the pathway that leads around Lake Balaton. Once you reach Tihany, walk towards I.
